A guy i know who is a christian gave me the following claim:
"There is simply enough historical evidence to suggest with high probability that the resurrection was real"

That doesn't look like evidence to me, what is that ? It looks like claiming religious texts are evidence for themselves or some circular thing like that.

No, the Bible doesn't constitute evidence.

I'd love some forensic evidence from Christians.

Tip for Christians: If the Bible claims something is true, you cannot use the Bible to back up that claim. It is illogical and a circular argument. Any other external source would do, and if the resurrection was as amazing as the Bible describes it, there should be plenty of other sources...wait a minute...

Even among Christians there is an argument as to weather the reserection was physical or spiritual. To take the bible as proof of the reserection is like taking a murderers word that he didn't kill the person. Dosn't mean it is useless, just can't be used as the only evidence.
