I'm DrPoodle, a 19 year old student about to start Computer Science at Royal Holloway (University of London). I'm from the UK as you probably guessed, and have been an atheist for the past 8 years. I originally started the website

Greetings, I am more of a half-Christian here to try to convince people to respect religion and what it has done for mankind. I know I'm kind of in the wrong place but joining a Christian forum would being rather unintelligent seeing that all everyone would do is agree with themselves.

I respect belief because we all have our own personal beliefs, but I disagree with the whole concept of organised belief (aka religion). I think it has caused more disputes than anything and people would get along more without it.

I'm DrPoodle's girlfriend. I have 5 A levels and one quarter of a masters degree in chemistry with forensic science and I'm treasurer of the debating society. I like my violin, Harry Potter, Philip Pullman, abusing Maggie Thatcher, being weird, king prawns, Archers with coke NOT lemonade, real ales, Blossom Hill rosé, hot chocolate, chocolate, marshmallows, boy films, broccoli, the sun, maths, shopping, Scrubs, Black Books, CSI, House, DrPoodle, cake, swimming, Yellowcard, Sugarcult, and getting excited about moving into my new house.

Heya, I've been an Aetheist for 10 years. Religion had it's use as a behavior mod tool...., back in the Dark Ages, but it has outlived it's usefulness. I'm a Business/Accounting major and I live in the U.S.A. Don't hate me! I didn't vote 4 Bush!!! The religious whackjobs did! They think he's "The son of god"...as one yokel put it.
