Not to mention that the predictions are always very vague and you can usually read someone else's horoscope and relate it to your life.
There is not a scrap of evidence that the position of the planets at the time of your birth has any influence on your life at all. Unless of course it is self fulfilling.
I'd be very interested to see the proof that you mention. I've certainly not read about it in any scientific journals. Every study that I've ever seen suggests that astrology scores no better than chance.
Scientific Proof for Astrology?

Is Astrology a Pseudoscience?

I believe that astrology can characterize me but cannot predict my future very obviously.
I can know people's(not everyone) zodiac signs by recognizing their behaviors.
I know it is a crazy idea that the birth of time makes the influence.
But I always believe in science more because science is based upon experiments.
Phone up James Randi quick and get a challenge organized before he withdraws the offer of $1,000,000 forever. I predict you will miserably fail at the test, as all claimed psychics have done before.
Let's just see how well I (a Taurus) do against the list of attributes (N for no way, ~ for perhaps, Y for absolutely)
* disciplined / methodical (N)
* conservative (N)
* traditional (N)
* hard-working (Y)
* good sense of humor (Y)
* great work ethic (~)
* artistic / creative (~)
* musical (N)
* loving / affectionate (Y)
* romantic (~)
* sensual (N)
* sexual (Y)
* strong (N)
* steadfast (~)
* stubborn / opinionated (Y)
* controlling (N)
* slow to anger, but can become furiously mad (~)
* getting stuck in ruts (N)
* resentful (N)
* prudent / cautious / careful (~)
* reliable / dependable / trustworthy (Y)
* calm (~)
* tenacious (Y)
* stable / steady (~)
* patient (N)
* loyal / faithful (Y)
* resourceful (Y)
* easygoing (~)
* honest (~)
* determined (Y)
* practical (Y)
* possessive (Y)
* overindulgent (N)
* jealous (Y)
* self-conscious (~)
11N,11~,13Y
So an average split, what you would expect chance to pull up. Now let's compare me with a Scorpio (opposite side of the zodiac)
* Intense (N)
* Powerful (N)
* Determined / tenacious / persevering (Y)
* Emotional / sensitive (~)
* Calm but seething (N)
* Reserved / withdrawn (N)
* Secretive (~)
* Deep / profound (Y)
* Passionate (~)
* Loyal / devotional (Y)
* Ambitious (Y)
* Extreme (N)
* Willful / fanatical (N)
* Mysterious / magnetic (N)
* Deeply resentful / brooding / potentially destructive (~)
* Cunning (Y)
* Outspoken (Y)
* Can be unforgiving (~)
* Sexual (Y)
7N, 5~, 7Y
Again, a pretty even split.
Coincidently, with the "preferable jobs" listed on the Wikipedia pages, none of the Taurus associated ones would I ever find myself doing, whilst the Scorpio ones (such as investigation / scientist / researcher) are my current ambitions.
Astrology is appearing to be more false. but maybe it's true because of:
"the planets have an effect on the gravity and the magnetic fields around us - http://atheism.about.com/b/2004/05/30/sc...rology.htm".
But another interesting article says that:
"no planet can influence a human more than the objects closer to you - Given the number of astrologers that we have and each one making thousands of predictions, some of them are bound to be right. - Also, people tend to look at the predictions that have turned out to be true rather than look at the times they tend to be completely false. - http://sujaiblog.blogspot.com/2006/12/as...nce-i.html"
If the astrology is true and it cannot describing us or predict out future maybe because the human consciousness is awake.
Another article(Part One: http://ezinearticles.com/?Is-Astrology-a...?&id=99539 - Part Two: http://ezinearticles.com/?Is-Astrology-A...id=1244468):
"If you tell people that all kinds of terrible things are going to happen to them, it will happen because none of us are positive enough or fearless enough to reject negative ideas or suggestions."
Let me sort this one out for you now.
Now, pay attention, the answer is..
False
